Honda Front Radar (ADAS) Repair

About this service

Honda Sensing driver assistance features, such as collision mitigation braking and adaptive cruise control, rely on a millimeter wave radar unit at the front of the car. When that radar unit develops a fault, Honda Sensing warnings come on and the driver assistance features can switch off.

On the scan tool this often shows as P2583, “Millimeter Wave Radar Function Error”, in the driver assistance system. We read the codes first, then repair the radar unit you already have, instead of fitting a new one.

A second code, “Millimeter Wave Radar Aiming Incomplete”, means the radar also needs to be aimed (calibrated) before the system works normally. We tell you what your car needs before any work starts.

How it works

1. WhatsApp us the details. Send your car model, chassis number and the fault code to 9893 1923. A photo of the scan tool screen or warning light helps.
2. We check and advise. We tell you what we can do: repair your unit, or supply a recon, used or new one.
3. Drop off or pick-up. Bring the car or part to us at Premier @ Kaki Bukit, or use our pick-up and delivery service.
4. Fixed, with warranty. Your car is back on the road, and the repair comes with a 6-month warranty.
